The Story

"Walked out of a Mötley Crüe show in Singapore and decided the only thing left to do was start a band of their own."

Muveno started in 2008. After a Mötley Crüe show in Singapore, Erick Irsan and Anggun went home and decided to start their own band with that same 90's rock energy. Eighteen years and ten lineup changes later, they're still at it — no signs of stopping.

It took seven years to turn that idea into a real debut album. When Tomorrow Is Ours finally came out in 2015, Muveno did it the hard way — a full concert at XXI, paid for entirely through crowdfunding from friends, fans, and family. Journalists who came expecting a small local show left talking about how they pulled it off.

The second album took even longer. Erick spent most of 2017 in Jakarta looking after his father, who was sick at the time. Songs that were already finished and mastered got reworked from scratch. It was a hard, draining process — but the result was the band's most creative and varied record yet.

By 2025, all that work had added up: 5 singles, 3 albums, and 2 compilation albums, plus a spot performing and speaking at TEDx Surabaya in 2023.

Moments That Shaped Us

From small stages to unforgettable nights. These milestones are the stories of our journey, built with passion, belief, and the people who stood with us.

Our Gigs

Independent Community Movement

We didn't wait for a stage. We built one.

Before the bigger stages, before the tours, before anyone knew our name — we built our own stage. We transformed an old garage workshop into an intimate live venue with our own hands and our own money, and countless hours of hard work. No label, no shortcuts — just a place for music, for friends, for the community, and for dreams to come true.

Our Gigs became a home for independent bands, original music, and a growing community of dreamers. It was the first proof that Muveno didn't need permission to build something real.

Built by musicians, for musicians.

Tomorrow Is Ours

XXI Cinema Concert

A dream we built together.

In 2015, we had a dream that felt too big for an indie band. So we decided to build it ourselves. We transformed a XXI cinema into our stage — not with the help of big labels or sponsors, but through self-funding and crowdfunding, carried entirely by the belief, support, and love of friends, fans, and family.

It was more than a concert. It was a promise that our music belongs to everyone who believes in it.

This is our tomorrow. This is ours.

Live Session

A Stage, Shared With No Strings Attached

If we had it, we'd share it.

It started somewhere in 2014 and ran until 2017 — our vocalist Erick Irsan hosted a YouTube segment called Live Session, opening the doors of his own studio, Jozz Studio, simply because he wanted indie bands to have a real place to be filmed and heard. No fees, no catch. Just a real stage, real gear, and a real shot at being seen.

It came from the same place Our Gigs and Tomorrow Is Ours did: if nobody's going to hand you a stage, you build one — and if you've already got one, you make room for whoever's still waiting for their turn.

A stage doesn't have to be borrowed to be shared.

Why We Believe

These moments are the reason we trust brands, fans, friends, and family before we trust anything else. Our Gigs proved we could turn an empty garage into a home for a whole community with nothing but our own hands. Tomorrow Is Ours proved we could sell out a cinema-turned-concert-hall with zero label money — funded entirely by people who simply believed in us. And Live Session proved that once we had something worth sharing, we shared it — no fees, no strings, just a stage handed to whoever needed one next.

At the time, we were the only indie band in Surabaya that pulled off any of this — let alone all three. That track record isn't a claim we're making for this pitch deck; it's something we already lived through, before anyone was watching. If a community of friends and fans could fund a dream that big back then, and if we've already shown we pay that kind of trust forward, we know exactly what's possible when a brand decides to walk this next journey with us.

We don't just play music. We live it, build it, and share it with you. Thank you for being part of our journey.

Our Next Movement

Muveno Japan Tour

A journey story from Surabaya to Japan.

We picked Japan on purpose. We've always been curious why so many of the bands we grew up on treat it as a must-play stop — Japan has built its own dedicated market for rock music, a country where livehouses aren't just venues, they're where bands earn their name one night at a time. Playing there isn't a box to check; it's closing a loop that started in a bedroom in Surabaya years ago. This tour is that full-circle moment, told the way we've always told our story: no shortcuts, no borrowed spotlight — just the same band, the same fans, and a much bigger stage.

3/4
An Open Seat, Not a Full Bus
Three-quarters of this journey is still unclaimed — held open on purpose for the brands and fans who want in early, not the ones who show up after it's already a story worth telling. This is the space where your name gets woven in, not squeezed onto a banner after the fact.

From a rehearsal room in Surabaya to a stage in Japan — this is the story a brand gets to be part of.

Not a sponsorship slot. A shared journey.
The Story

An underdog band's dream, told in real time.

Ten lineup changes, eighteen years, and a debut album funded entirely by fans who believed. Muveno's Japan tour is the next chapter of that same story — and every brand that joins isn't buying an ad placement, they're becoming part of a journey audiences will genuinely root for, from the first rehearsal to the final bow on a Japanese stage.

01

A Brand That Belongs Here

We're only approaching brands that already champion local creativity, music, youth movement, travel, technology, fashion, and lifestyle — so the partnership feels honest, not forced.

02

Woven In, Not Slapped On

Every sponsor gets a custom integration concept built around what they actually sell — so your brand shows up as part of the story, not a logo pasted over it.

03

Every Moment, On Camera

From late-night rehearsals in Surabaya to backstage nerves before a Japanese crowd — full documentation of the journey, the performance, and the fans who show up.

04

Something Fans Can Hold Onto

A limited-run, crowdfunding-exclusive merchandise line — a keepsake for supporters that carries your brand alongside the memory they helped make happen.

05

A Message That Sticks

Every show closes the same way: representing Surabaya and Indonesia on an international stage, and thanking the people — and the brand — who made it possible.

06

One Story, Start to Finish

Dream, preparation, journey, performance, impact — your brand doesn't get one post, it rides the entire emotional arc audiences actually stay for.

Pick Your Seat

Any brand can buy a logo on a poster. Far fewer get to attach their name to a story that's already proven it travels — twice, on nothing but a community's belief. The tier you choose isn't really about the rupiah. It's about how loud your name travels with us, and how long people remember it was there.

Platinum
Official Tour Partner
IDR 15,000,000+ (cash or in-kind equivalent)

Large logo across every asset — posters, stage banners in all 4 cities, IG feed & story. A "Presented by [Sponsor]" credit on every piece of content. Your product woven into the official tour merchandise. Brand placement inside the tour documentary. A full report and documentation package once the tour wraps.

Gold
Show Sponsor
IDR 7,500,000 – 15,000,000 (cash or in-kind)

Medium logo placement on the poster for one city of your choice. A dedicated mention in the social caption for that show. Your product called out and shown on stage between songs.

Silver
Support Sponsor
IDR 3,000,000 – 7,500,000 (cash or in-kind)

Small logo on the tour poster. One social media shoutout before departure. Product placement at the merch table.

In-Kind Partner
Products & Services
Instruments, catering, local transport, accommodation, etc.

Benefits scaled to match the estimated value of what you contribute — logo placement and mentions calibrated to whichever tier your contribution lines up with.

Every tier is a seat on the same journey. Higher tiers just mean more people see you on it.
